The <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (IEEC) has announced the tender for the provision of satellite data services related to Earth Observation for Catalonia’s NewSpace Strategy next Earth Observation focused mission. This mission will include the integration and operation of an in-orbit technology demonstrator (IOD).<\/span><\/p>\n

The contract, with an estimated value of 4,215,000 \u20ac, aims to provide satellite services based on the needs identified within the framework of <\/span>Catalonia\u2019s NewSpace Strategy<\/span><\/a> promoted by the Generalitat\u2019s <\/span>Secretariat for Digital Policies<\/span><\/a> with the collaboration of the IEEC, the <\/span>i2CAT Foundation<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Institut Cartogr\u00e0fic i Geol\u00f2gic de Catalunya<\/span><\/a> (ICGC).<\/span><\/p>\n

This provision of services should serve to provide data, experimentation, and experience to a Catalan ecosystem made up of industry, research centres and the bodies and departments of the Generalitat de Catalunya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The provision of the identified services should be carried out through the disposition of at least three satellites and will include:<\/span><\/p>\n
