The <\/span>Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> (IEEC \u2014 Institut d\u2019Estudis Espacials de Catalunya) and the <\/span>Government of Catalonia<\/span><\/a> have resolved the <\/span>concession of 7 grants<\/b> to companies, start-ups and research centres in Catalonia <\/span>for the selection of students on internships in the NewSpace projects<\/span><\/span><\/a>. The call was opened on 25 July.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The purpose of this funding is to promote internships in companies, start-ups and research centres in the NewSpace field, as a key element for the connection between universities and companies. Furthermore, the aim is to favour small companies and research centres in Catalonia that have difficulties hiring interns with their resources.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.2″ _module_preset=”default” link_font=”|700|||on||||” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The 7 selected entities, that will receive a maximum of 2,000 euros each, are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n This call is framed within the actions of the <\/span>Talent and Society programme<\/b> of the <\/span>NewSpace Strategy of Catalonia<\/span><\/a>, which promotes activities aimed at attracting, generating and retaining talent with skills to develop solutions in the NewSpace field.
