BarcelonaTech (Campus Nord), es una iniciativa del Departamento de Teor\u00eda de la Se\u00f1al y Comunicaciones y de la Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenier\u00eda de Telecomunicaci\u00f3n de Barcelona (ETSETB \u2013 TelecomBCN). Con el dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de misiones de nanosat\u00e9lites como actividad principal, el laboratorio se centra en la exploraci\u00f3n de conceptos innovadores de sistemas de peque\u00f1os sat\u00e9lites y en el desarrollo y la integraci\u00f3n de subsistemas y cargas \u00fatiles, principalmente para la observaci\u00f3n de la Tierra. En la actualidad, la equipaci\u00f3n de grado industrial del laboratorio permite probar y calificar sistemas de nanosat\u00e9lite en condiciones espaciales (hasta 6U). Certificaci\u00f3n ISO-7. Supervisi\u00f3n y control de las operaciones desde una sala exterior. Interfaz el\u00e9ctrica con sala externa incluyendo instrumentaci\u00f3n, fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n, generadores de se\u00f1al, prototipos y otros. Rango de temperatura de -196\u00baC a +300\u00baC. Sistema de calentamiento mediante tres l\u00e1mparas de infrarrojos y sistema de refrigeraci\u00f3n con nitr\u00f3geno l\u00edquido.
